9. City of the Dead in Russia
Going by the pictures, one can easily mistake this Alanian necropolis for a serene village. But, it’s ‘City of the dead’ which has 99 different crypts and tombs. As per a myth, no man has ever returned alive from this cemetery located in Dargavs, Russia. The locals stay away from it and is regarded as one of the scariest places on earth.
