9. JOHN LENNON AND PAUL MCCARTNEY
When Lennon was 15 years old, he formed the skiffle group, Quarrymen, named after Quarry Bank High School. It was the summer of 1956, and at the second performance of the Quarrymen Lennon met Paul McCartney.
