19. KESHA
Kesha was born to a singer/songwriter single mother who struggled to support her two children. When Kesha was an infant her mother would perform while watching her onstage. Kesha’s mother always encouraged her to pursue singing once it became apparent that she had talent.
[adace-ad id=”5251″]She went to high school in a religious area of Nashville, and felt that she did not quite fit in with the other students. She was a good student playing trumpet and saxophone in band.
