Young Jeezy spoke out in a Rolling Stone interview about what it was like growing up after his parents separated. His mother turned to alcohol, and so 11-year-old Jeezy turned to selling drugs as a way to cope with the isolation from his mother. He would sell crack cocaine out of his grandmother’s home in the morning, and then he would head off to class.
